The first lie wasn’t that we were separated from God. It was doubt. “What if you’re not who God says you are?” I’ve spent years trying to think my way into becoming someone better. Trying to earn worth. Trying to figure out my purpose. Trying to heal enough to finally become who I was meant to be. But an acorn doesn’t spend its life wondering if it’ll become an oak tree. It simply grows. Maybe the deepest form of faith isn’t trying harder. Maybe it’s trusting deeper. Not trusting the identity built from trauma, failure, labels, or yesterday’s mistakes. Trusting the identity that existed before any of those things. The more I stop arguing with what God placed within me, the more naturally it begins to emerge. Less striving. Less doubt. Less figuring everything out. More knowing. Maybe “let go and let God” isn’t passive at all. Maybe it’s finally getting out of the way of what has been unfolding within you all along. Happy Sunday. 🤍
